I'm curious, is this the Vanguard carbon series with the 'VANGUARD' written on the dial, or is this the 'KRYPTON' version just that the wording on the dial says 'VANGUARD'. Can any FM expert clarify what exactly this model is?

Yeah I see where you're coming from. The Krypton model name should be on the front instead of Vanguard - but honestly no one is going to notice. I can barely find gen photos, so good luck running into anyone that can call you out for that. I just think the idea of the watch is utterly cool and so glad the factories decided to make it happen.

I'm with you. It's such an awesome rep too, it's just a shame that they missed the Krypton. I don't know if I can get over that
