Hey!

I've been doing research for quite a while now and also ordered my first non dress watch.

I'm looking for some suggestions now regarding dress watches with a black leather strap and one with a lightbrown/ cognac leather strap.

Those are the ones I came up with so far:

https://puretime.io/da-vinci-iw3566...-white-dial-on-black-leather-strap-a2892.html

http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=352&products_id=18797

https://www.intime03.co/tudor/4804-...let-miyota-9015-to-cal-free-rubber-strap.html (with cognac leather strap)

https://www.intime03.co/omega/5516-...on-ss-bracelet-a2892free-a-leather-strap.html (also cognac leather strap)

My two favorites so far are:

http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=352&products_id=18797 as it is

https://puretime.io/da-vinci-iw3566...-white-dial-on-black-leather-strap-a2892.html with an additional strap (cognac) to buy and then change the straps.

The watch has to be a very good rep/ super rep, since I'm planning to wear them for work and would not like to get called out when its on my wrist.

Do any of you have some other ideas/ suggestions?

Thanks :)

I'd go with the JLC. A bit more of a "prestigious" brand (considering you're after a dress watch). The IWC is a nice watch, but I'd personally avoid Arabic numerals for a dress watch as they come across as more casual.

Glad you narrowed it down past the Tudor, though. Bright blue is waaay too casual.

Hey!

yeah true. I think the JLC is perfect for a black strap.

However, since I also want one with a Cognac strap (and would combine that with a cognac belt/shoes on a blue/gray suit, for non super Formal business meetings) I was thinking about the Tudor. That why also the IWC is interesting since it doesn’t have to be suuuuuper formal.
