WELCOME to PAMSDAY!! Hope it turns out to be a pleasant, joyful day.

Today sees the appearance of the rarely worn PANERAI BRONZO automatic, a watch that simply is very beautiful & solid but is not taken for a wrist ride too often. This is so because at times I'm a little too cautious in wearing it, probably because it IS large, solid, well made -- and I'm a little wary (sic) to wear it. dave: (old pics):

It’s an open 6/9 day, so on with a vintage. This one’s still all shiny and un-aged (which is why it’s still working)…

Uh-oh... You won't be pleased to hear that it's currently "mid-car wreck" then.

(All I'm doing for starters is brassing the bezel and repainting the insert. I'm currently debating how far to go with the case and dial beating.)

Yes. Well, the movement had to be replaced with a Seagull 2836.
