What do you guys think of this build I've been considered doing? Nothing crazy, but Rolex has never done the combo of a white gold bezel with a panda dial. I would basically just be taking any version of 116509 and throwing in a CF white panda dial.

Fantasy builds are all about doing what looks cool to you. There are no wrong builds, to me it's the best thing about reps. I have all the parts to make the fantasy build below, I just have so many in the queue it hasn't happened yet.What do you guys think of this build I've been considered doing? That's a fantastic piece, didn't even think about it as I thought for some reason the hands were supposed to be a different color. You might have me changing my mind, lol

Rolex was weird about the hands on the two ice blue Platona models before this year. Now they both have the same no black stripe hands. Sadly there is no more ice blue subdial ring dial.

I was always going to use the no stripe hands on my fantasy piece anyway. I think it suits the diamond dial better.

I like the contrasting subdials, just not sure how it would look in person to have the brown subdials with no other matching color on the case.

Agree it's not great with no other brown. Your Panda has the black dial text and bezel numbers to complement it.
There was the same problem with the brown bezel on the original diamond dial that had matching ice blue rings, it just didn't go. Rolex missed a great combo but I won't. They did it in RG, IDK why not in Platinum.
