As far as I’m aware they haven’t made a 15710 v9.5 only the 15703

15703 doesn’t

Not a major thing, just a nice thing to look at for yourself whenever you take the watch off.

one has wet dial another one doesnt
watches are different
but 15710 is open case back so you can easily tell fake vs genuine by looking at that
most people here prefer 15703 v9.5

Thanks for clearing it up! I knew there were a few more things that were different on the two models, but I wasn’t sure.

Do you know if the A3120 is any good?

actually this 15710 rotor is the most gen like rotor. but the balance wheel is wrong position. not much people notice it. cause ap not popular like rolex so i dont get caught easy

Yea I have noticed that too. I don’t have any watch geek friends, so no one would ever know about the balance wheel placement, or even the brand for that matter. But do you have the A3120 version? Is it any good?

I am not very sure about A3120 probably it's fine. These mechanisms are serviceable which means if something breaks you can go to watch smith and get it fixed for $120 bucks. I am not sure though which one is more Gen-like, 15710 v9 or 15703 v9.5. My bet is on 15703 but personally I like 15710 more for the dial and for it being a current model. If you go for 15710 just don't get one with ceramic bezel because they don't exist in genuine version. I couldn't make up my mind - get 15703 or 15710 so I got 15706 XF v2 (now v3). This is one of the most Gen-likes because it's a limited production model and no one ever saw Gen one in real life LOL, so no one can really fault it (except for some nerds on this forum)

Thanks for the info! I’m glad to hear that it’s a movement that can be fixed if it goes south. My guess would probaly be that the 15703 is the most gen-like (seems like that’s what people are saying) but I just like the 15710 more, so that’s probaly the one I’m going to get. Yea I saw the ceramic bezel version, and I couldn’t really figure out if it was a made up fake or a limited piece, but I figured it was just a made up fantasy watch. Thank you so much for your help

Kinda try figuring out whether 15710 v9 has the hands corrected as well. meaning not green lume. maybe ask a TD, or someone else on this forum who has better knowledge of this..
