What a cyclops upgrade!

Hasn't the reliability of 7750 been getting better as of late? Is this just eishful thinking?

Gen as comparison

The v2 cyclop/datewheel combination is indeed a lot better than the one in its predecessor.
For the 44mm, the following remain tells:

- thickness of case. Not so evident on the wrist, but it is there.
- shorter marker @3.This disrupts the symmetry of the dial actually, and is an immediate tell in real life.
- base of hand stack is wider in the rep but for a black on black color theme, it is not obvious in real life.

A clone A3126/3840 movement will nicely resolve all the above tells. Yes hands base can of course be thinner from the factory or modded aftermarket.
So while they have finally improved the magnification/font issue, there remains significant improvements to be made before it is an acceptable rep for wear, IMHO.

Frankly, if you have the movement properly cleaned and serviced, add a swiss main spring, and leave the chronograph function well alone, it isn't that bad a movement in my experience. It is however too thick compared with the gen caliber, and nowehere as refined in terms of looks and function.
The stock reliability of the A7750 sec@12 movement has also improved somewhat in the later batches, but still prone to the occasional friction issues in the transfer gear points.

Has anybody seen or got qc for ceramic 44 or rg 44?? White fonts look great but not sure about gold fonts- dealers seem to be avoiding the subject

Is this your experience or hear tell? I own quite a few APROO for a couple of years now, and only one - maybe two - of the older ones had a short lifetime. None of my watches are daily beaters though.

I've had my JF 44mm FC Carbon for about 3 years now or more since the first JF AP's came out , had it serviced once during that period and has never passed out on me. It does loose time once in a while but after I set it again, manual wind a few times when not in use for a long period it still keeps ticking . I keep checking on it every once in a while if it's still alive but it just keeps going LOL . It's just luck of the draw, some of them do last a while but they get a very bad reputation.

I'm just waiting for that Lebron V2. Who knows if that will ever happen though.

Apart from the thickness and marker @3, I do hope the plots are moveable.

I maybe wrong but if you want to make the watch as close to gen spec as possible, wouldn’t you need to thin down the bottom fat hand stack or is that even possible at all?

I'm pretty sure we'll have a clone movement sooner than we think. At the rate VSF and Noob have been keeping up with their Seamaster and Daytona clone movements, if JF get on their Royal Oak game before someone else they'll dominate.

Clone movement that’s compatible with gen parts is the dream for the AP ROO much like the SH3135

Just out of curious, how heavy is the Forged Carbon ROO weight? could someone who owns the watch tell me? maybe I should go for the FC44 next time.
