You'd be surprised how such a supposedly minor level of thinning can do wonders in terms of the feel and look of watch when you look at it from the side sitting on your wrist...

However, this is currently only applicable to 42mm covered casebacks..

Yes, he's the one that does the platinum insert mods for Rolex reps. Do us a favor and post pictures of your 15400 after you get it thinned. Thanks.

Domi Managed to shave down the caseback 1mm on the panda and bee also
