Some Gen pics that I found on a dealer on eBay

Just bought this candle the other day, wonder if anyone will recognise it:wub:
Now I'm by no means an expert in Ap's and only really got interested in the brand after receiving my Noob AP Diver V3 back in May and was totally blown away, and this rep is far more than I expected:wub: Enough to say it kinda gives me wood:lol1:
So where do I start.
CASING
Finish and attention to detail is fantastic solid piece of work, brushed finish from what I can see is just right and polished edges just add that further touch of class, rubber pushers work as they should and the crown screws on well.
Case back I have to say is very well engraved yet you can see above from the pics that I've posted the fonts just not thick enough, and stamping in some of the wrong places.. Another noticeable difference is the case back screws seem more flat on the Gen, not sure if these are gold on the Gen.
DIAL
Now this is just stunning, dark grey, attention to detail is fantastic beautiful waffle design, and excellent gold surrounds on the sub dials, numericals and hands. I love the touch of the Gold AP on the dial and for the life of me don't know why they couldn't get it right, none the less it's not that bad.
Cyclops is just kinda ok, not colourless Ar, and you can see papa smurf at most angles, but it doesn't really bother me too much
SAPPHIRE
I don't thnk the gen has double Ar, which you can see quite clearly see in the pics above, and if I'm comparing Those pics with mine I'd say they are both the same, and if I'm honest it's very good on the rep, not double Ar that makes your dial pop out, but good enough that at most angles you can see the dial clearly.
BEZEL
Just fantastic, nothing else to add, lol
STRAP/DEPLOYANT
Rubber stap is great not too hard, nice crisp marking on the inner, deployant is ok, I have no idea how accurate this is, but I did notice that the Ap engraving isn't as pronounced as the gen on the buckle, minor yes, but in terms of quality of the rest of the rep it's not great.
MOVEMENT
This is one area that I've not read much about, but believe that the seconds @12 can be problematic, and tbh I don't really want to know HOW PROBLEMATIC they are, lol, I'll just enjoy it. Seconds is running fine, doesn't seem choppy, I've ran the crono and it works fine, resets perfect.
GOLD PLATING
Finish is fantastic lovely rose gold tone, I believe that these have a different type of plating application, how true that is I've no idea but I'll not be wearing this everyday and I tend to look after my reps, so hopefully the plating will last.
