I suppose you mean this is not a real 3235 movement? But a 3135 with some modifications. I know there's a SA4131 that in fact is just a 4130 with slight modifications to reassemble the 4131. While in fact the SH4131 is a real clone of the Gen. So I suppose is possible this is the same. But I am not an expert at all, so take my words with caution. Other much more expert than me can provide you with more detailed explanations. If I am totally mistaken, apologize in advance. Still learning here.

I once learned of a water ghost slipped between the case and caseback, engraved a movement, and slithered away, unnoticed.

It was years ago, but I recall my sister's brother-in-law's aunt's reaction when it happened.

She was flabbergasted.

As were we all.

I hope this isn't the beginning of a pattern.

Replicas are always replicas, but when some unscrupulous dealers start to sell an altered version with mix of rep and genuine movement parts or watch parts, and marketing it as 100% genuine, that to me is a pure scam.

Definitely this is something to be careful of.
