2813G 'Big Date'

I just replaced the faulty movement in a watch I've had for a while. The original movement was stamped 2813G and the date wheel is like spokes on a wheel. I found out it is known as the 'big date' version. A regular 2813 doesn't align correctly with the window on the face.

The replacement movement I found runs nicely, is quite accurate but the reserve doesn't last overnight after normal wear. I didn't have this issue with the original movement.

Is there a more modern, or better version of the 'big date' 2813? Or is the movement I purchased likely to be faulty? Or is it possible I have somehow replaced it incorrectly?

Any thoughts appreciated!

The 2813 ones are usually workhorses. Try winding it manually and give it up to 30 full turns. That should load up the reserve
