you guys want to give me some help choosing my first watch?

i have narrowed it down to a few choices, now i need some help (input,advice,your favorite,dislikes,wants,needs or what ever you would like to call it) choosing my first watch. for ease of poll all watches were pulled from one website so if you prefer a differn't watch from somebody please post who 's you prefer and why.

Personally, I like them simple....definatel the 005 or the 112...

my recs are 192 or 88. I don't like date windows that much (ok the 088 has one) and with the 112 having no second hand it doesn't matter that much what the movement is. The 088 would look great with a leather band as well. 005 is a close third.

I am in the same boat as you. I have the exact same taste when it comes to PAMS... simple and clean and a stainless steel band.

PAM 165 looks darn good. PAM 88 is a good choice as well.
I wouldn't go for 005 because the logo is wrong, should be slanted but it is sitting straight up. Too obvious (& ugly) imo.

i did a side buy side on davidsen's 005 logo pic and a gen. if they are not the same they are certainly close enough for me. i didn't see any difference.

that is the only way i will buy it because it is too plain.

3. Carbon faced

Stay away from models with dates. The magnification is crappy. Any of those watches would be a good first buy.

Yes, 88 & 165 are nice, but the out of the box 005 from Davidsen with no-mods are quite nice...
At 10% of gen price, no bitchin here...

i agree about the 192, it is beautiful. i really want one. i know the flaws are there but i don't care. i actually like the rep better than the gen because the bezel is not at such a angle and it makes the dial look a little bigger and it looks really good to me on a ss and ti bracelett. when i order one i will get both leather and ss and ti.
