A few things I'd like to request from the rep makers for under my tree this holiday season:

1. a "mini" 1950. in other words, a 44mm version (like the 212), gold hands, cushion 1950 style case, and very simple dial (luminor panerai or even marina militare)...because we don't all have big wrists.

2. an updated pam 113 white face. brushed fat crown crown. canon fix. larger/thicker font. and an "inset" or "engraved" subsecond dial at the 9 position (like the subdials on a 212 or 088 - the 113 H has this)

3. a brown dial 232 47mm radiomir. ok, i don't have the wrists for47mm (see 1 above), but this radiomir wears smaller than a fiddy. and what a watch!

4. in general, better ar coating, tighter and thicker crown guards, superlume and canon pin fix on everything.

what's on your list of wants / gripes?

it does leave a lot to be desired, though.

the fantasy part i actually like. what i don't like is how it seems like they shave the "9" from a fiddy dial. i've never seen the smaller sub second dial like that - where there is no 9 (like the fiddy) and yet it is not big enough to replace the 9 or any 9 marker (like the 111). very bizarre look.

also, radiomir is the last thing i'd put on this case design. mm would have been great...not to mention real sapphire crystal.

oh well. maybe santa will pull through.

that's a great looking watch. personally, i'm not a cali dial fan, but that "clicks" as you say.

one question: is the crystal genuine sapphire, and if so, where can i get the case to begin this project (i can always get the dial from mr. davidsen)?
