Will gen Submariner xtal fit in a GMT II?

I have a gen xtal for a 116610 (25-295-C12-C1) and would like to use that for a 116710. The correct xtal for a 116710 is 25-295-CAR-C1. Just wondering if they are interchangeable or not.
