Into a 47mm panny vintage style case...The Hammy is 37.4mm dia, with subdial seconds @6:00...That would migrate it to 9:00 in a wristwatch configuration...This Hammy movement is a freekin MASTERPIECE of the lost American watchmaking art, and I really would love to put it back to work!!!...Anybody heard of anyone making this conversion??...I know RGM is using these movements in some of their custom watches, but they get "telephone numbers" pricing for them!!

Looks like we are working on similar projects. From every thing that i could find trying to do conversions. It looks like size 10 pocket watch movements are going to be the closest to the ETA 6497 / 6498. I was also reading about pocket watch sizing. It seems that it is not a real definate measurement becasue from what i can tell it is the size of the auctual pocket watch not the movement. But odds are the 10 is the closest your going to get.

I am working on putting this Elgin size ten in an iwc portugese case.
