it amazes me that there is so much money to be made a no TD is willing to source parts.
CF and BT Daytonas showed that western buyers are ok to pay 20-30% increase in heartbeat for a well made product (Oysterflex are near 900$).
I could see the point that for a TD is easier and more convenient to sell a whole watch in the past, but right now the demand of parts would not cannibalize complete watch (on the oppositte could boost due to willingness to have a super-mod, since genuine parts are ridicously priced compared to past).
