I am brand new to the forum and was wondering if you guys would happen to help me figure out what I bought a few years back. I have what I believe to be a PAM 111h not to sure though.

Also, I need to have it repaired and was wondering what you thought might be the best way to do it. It seems as though the hands do not line up properly and I have no clue on how to fix this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ben

if they are just not put on properly then all you need is a hand remover and replacer tool

Hello!

That looks like a PAM 005. As far as the hands, they probably just need to be removed and put back on so they line up correctly. To do so yourself, you would need to remove the movement from the case, remove the hands and then put them back on.......not hard to do if you have done this kind of thing before. If not, there are a few quality watch repair folks here at RWI....such as KATT. You could send it off to one of them.

I started off here a couple of years ago just like you: without any idea how to make a repair like that. Use the search feature and you may actually turn up exactly what you need. Meanwhile, taking the movement out of the case, I now know having now done it several times, is not a big deal. Nor is removing the hands and replacing them--though a 'hand removing tool' really is a good idea. I bought mine for less than 10 bucks, if I recall. Just be really careful: everything scratches really easily and everything is really tiny. If you are at all dextrous, you'll be fine. I should also say that you get a huge sense of accomplishment after taking a deep breath and accomplishing your own repair. Good luck!

take off the caseback.

take off the crown guard.

losen the screw to release the stem....with crown.

evtl. remove the 2 screws that hold the mvmnt in the case.

take out the movement.

use a toothpick to push the minute hand to exact 12,

the hour hand to exact 6 o'clock position. DONE
