I do not think this model exist at all. i could be wrong. I have never seen this one before. By the look of the sub dial position this might have an asian auto.

Yes, it is a 21j auto.

I don't know? Is it safe to tell who I got it from? I'm trying to get an answer from the dealer at the moment.

maybe the dealer dropshipped it and the supplier didn't send what they were supposed to. it wouldn't be the first time something like that happened

At least by being 21J Asian auto you don't have a recessed cannon pin issue :)

...sorry, couldn't resist !

BTW, you're at the right place here, most of us will go extra mile in assisting a fellow forumer on rep decisions and selections...

My advice would be to return this sorry-state "thing" to its source...if possible.

Let us know if we can help you make the right choice for your next rep purchase.

cheers,
babola

if this was bought from one of our normal dealers i am sure the wrong watch got shipped by the supplier. none of our dealers sell anything like that here that i am aware of. i am sure that all of their suppliers have these types of reps avaliable for different markets other than here. i have to beleive this was just a mistake on the suppliers part and i am sure the dealer will take care of this.

This is a very good example too of how to deal with the problems that are part of rep buying. I think evildee has shown excellent new buyer skills. He came to the forum with questions and avoided any personal attacks or emtional mayhem. While he asked the membership questions; he also kept his dealings personal and with the dealer he bought the watch from.

Bingo - just so. There really is an interplay of mutual respect underpinning dealings. I've NEVER had a problem w/ a dealer - yes, with watches (based on I trust my reasonable requests as to quality - not simply, "I don't like this watch ...") - after establishing a relationship, dialogue, and most importantly trust.

This whole hobby is based on trust. Without that, say goodbye ...
