The GEN which is indeed a GEN, looks to be a 6154, it's hard to say but that dial looks brown, what is interesting is how the Stainless Steel has degraded in time. The clues to being a 6154 over the 6152/1 is the slightly different case symetry and the raised crown stem. Of course a straight on shot in full depth of field focus could make a liar out of me, but I see no reason not to believe that those parts are true Vintage - that watch was used too, not displayed.
Awesome find.
What Convinces me to think it is A Gen Is the Small Lug Holes. On Reps these Are To big. Also If You look Close Up to the Dial You see That the text is Ingraved, And in this case not filled in with white paint.
The Sandwich Cut-out Numeral symbols have Plastic Fillings, There is only one Fanatic Rep artist who is That perfectionistic.......
Ok Enzo Got something to Confess? :?
Who Else Would know the Difference between The 1940 6152 Radiomir With Fixed Lugs...
The 1938 6152/1,
Or the 1950's 6154 Egiziano Piccolo!?
This Is Why the Call it Piccolo...
Compared to the GPF 2-56 Egiziano 66mm!
Ciao Tutti!
