Well, with the plethora of "Santos XL" versions i am still not clear on what are those "special details" found on the so called "ULTIMATE" version.
I've seen tons of pictures from several dealers and so far what i can see the characteristics of a truly "ULTIMATE" version are these:
1.- Non "guilloché" dial, the dial is plain white, not cream.
2.- Curved dial and case.
3.- Darker blue cabochon.
4.- A more elaborate case back (it has more than three lines of text).
Therefore, if i see a so called "Ultimate" model with a light blue cabochon, or
a very simple caseback or a guilloched dial i should stay away.
Right?
Any input?
irates:
TIA
