What is the difference PAM 199?

I know nothing about reps but I know I want a PAM 199 (can't afford a gen). Anywho I thought they all kinda came from the same sweatshops...but when I look at photos the bezel numbers look drastically different and sometimes are way off. I also don't know which way to turn with the ultimates and all that...oh course I don't want to pay $250 for a rep watch that I can get the same quality from another place for $100....any help on my first rep purchase would be greatly appreciated.

The 199 is a pretty decent rep for an out of box PAM, much better than some other PAM's. You won't find the same quality of movement in a $100 rep. The 199 you linked to from Puretime has a high beat 7750 and a good cyclops magnification with a sapphire crystal, You'll pay more for sapphire over a mineral crystal and to me it's worth the expense. Shop around, email a few dealers like Hont and Trevor and see what they can get you the same watch for then base your decision on who you feel most comfortable dealing with. Yes, the "Ultimate" 199s are worth the premium. However, check with Trevor, Ruby or Hont (and possibly MReplica?) - they may be able to get it for you cheaper.

I've bought a few watches from Angus and they've all been fine, but those others might be able to get you a better deal.

Found them. Ruby has a nice 199...It looks like Trevor not MRep carries it though.
