What the easiest way to waterproof a rep sub? New gaskets on the back and crown?

Get it tested and go from there. The xtal and gasket could leak as well.

There is no such thing as a waterproof watch. There are different levels of water resistance. Any watchsmith here can do this for you. You should also check locally and see a place that can test it for you. If your watch does not pass it could be an issue with a seal, or a defect in the casting of the steel components. Chronos (gen or rep) are not recommended to be exposed to water.

I also think that waterproof watches do not exist! But you can make personal improvements to make them waterproof!
