Want to look closely at the Safari

I am dying to get a Safari sec@12
I have seen a few pics of them throughout the forum but was wondering if you members who own the safari with the updated cream dial could post pics here.

I am interested in getting a better look at the color of the dial.

Also, how does it compare in terms of color with the gen one ?

Am also waiting to pull the trigger on a Safari. I'm being told that they are out of staock at the factory right now, with a new batch coming soon. Hope they get the dial colour right on the new ones....

If you find a dealer that has stocks, please let me know.

The safari is a nice rep, I like it, though until now it had some flaws, the dial colour was updated though not yet as creamy as the gen, the gen tends to look more like beige. Another flaw are the silver borders around the numerals.

Now that they are out of stock I hope they will upgrade the dial to the correct colour.

If you really want a safari, a big tell is the hornback strap. An aftermarket hornback on this one is somekind of a must, it looks great with it!

I contacted MR and I bieleved they had some. Is the factory out of stock ?

several members on different fora wanted to order one and were being told they were out of stock, my guess is the factory is indeed out of stock, maybe some members can get them though from local markets

But I just spoke with Jacob from Jacobs straps in Spain since he is making a grey aligator strap for my Chronopassion.

He is going to start making these hornbacks with a insert just like the gens.
If I understand his Google translate english I think the inserts will be done in about 60-90 days.
