Looks nice, although I was hoping they'd do a 42mm release of the PAM2392

This dial is supposed to be a sunburst dial, hope they get it done right

Wonderful!

So far, the closest model to me in design is the 44mm 1950 case. 1312 and 1313 look good, I think everything will be fine. Pay attention to the combination of patinated lum in combination with a black sunburst dial.
It seems good.
Strange, but even the strap design is not bad.

In this case, only 351 were always interested, and I think this is another reason for interest.

Watch looks good, strap not so much. REP is more black than grey.
I see GEN caseback is centered. REP is crocket.

i was going to take the 1312 but now this !

damn VSF ! you can miss a release (088) and success the one after :D

also curious to see the render of the dial , the gen has a slight sunburst ! caseback can be also misaligned on gen

for what i can say on the rep , font is like always, too bold and maybe too "yellow"

here some pics of the GEN :

I think it's a myth that the case back is always aligned, not sure where that legend came from.
It's only ever aligned on the pictures from websites, promos for photo purposes

i agree

from what i know, it's always aligned on Omega watches with the NAIAD Lock system , otherwise caseback is always at different position

What do you mean by offset? The layout of the engravings itself in the circle seems to be placed correctly. Do you mean the position of the lid on the case? This can be twisted as you like.

I agree about the fonts. VSF makes it a little "sweeter", creamier and brighter, but overall I like it as it looks balanced. And in general, finally, the pam came out, which can be worn with a beige strap, matching the marker with the numbers, it seems that this is already a victory!
:happybirth:

And thanks for putting gen photos right away.

This looks lovely. Can’t wait for a review

I hope they got the sunburst effect right with this one. It will make or break it.

Not a fan of this model but VSF is really pumping out some good quality (although some inaccurate but still high quality) Pams. I am also hoping for a simple 42mm from them soon. Or even older 40mm models.

I'm curious about the 1950 44mm case. I don't own one, but does the CG work and feel like a gen? Does it close tightly like a gen or is it loose? Does it actually compress the crown? From the pictures I see of VSF 44mm 1950s models, the crown does not appear to be compressed much when closed.

Also some reviews say that the feel of the VSF CG feels too loose and closes with no resistance or pressure thereby not compressing the crown.

Owners of 1950s case, what are your opinions on it? I'd like to know as I'm considering adding a 44mm 1950s PAM1312 to my collection

In this respect, it cannot be generalized. Most CGs, most factories in general, aren't bad. Which one will be found in the next sample? What will the next model be? No one knows. But this is definitely not a problem to start from.

In any case, the tightness of the CG closure depends on the position of the hex nut under the crown. It can be pulled higher or lower, the degree of pressing will depend on this.

I have a 312 from VSF and Indeed the CG is a bit lose , it compress the crown but not as much as the GEN for sure.

You can turn the crown even with CG closed ...

i have also a 1661 , and it's a bit better but nothing like very tight maybe the carbotech play a role ...

I have ordered the new 1312 with the new 1950 case in steel (the 312 is based on the old one) i will see if there is some difference on this point , but it's not something than bother me :)

Please excuse my beginners questions but I have two.
1. Is this really called the 1025? I’m struggling to find any information about the gen online.
2. I see a lot of discussions about 1312 around the forum but no dedicated thread. Are VSF about to release one or am I completely missing something here?

Thanks!

Ah, adding the 0 did the trick. Didn’t realize this was such a limited watch. Strange to me that they produce this before more mainstream models.. oh well. Thanks!
