No its not. Clean or any other chinese reps does not have exact color with gen gold. You can't compare plated gold to solid gold.

A good plating/wrapping might look close but never same or exact.

And as for that "gen jubilee vs clean" photo, you can easily see that perfect yellow tone on gen and dull orange tone on clean.

Dont get me wrong, i dont mean its not good. It looks good but you cant compare that to gen.

Worse than CF 116613LB,
Definitely not Gen-like.

I bought 2 and I guess I won't be missing it anytime soon after the first regretful sale.

I am refering to the colour of the YG plating in particular as I was replying to his questions regarding it.

Bought the first one and didn't had enough wrist time so I sold it.

Regretted 3 weeks later and I ordered another one. Sold it to a friend 1 month because again, it did not have enough wrist time.

I can personally accept the YG color tho I would prefer it to be upgraded of course.

Passable to me. Under certain lightings it does look light, and in others, darker.

Looks way better in daylight! I think it is definitely passable. Just like anything else, different light will emit different color. I honestly don't think a gen would be entirely different either.

But gen is the ultimate standard of which we base our reps on.

I'm not denying that gen has different shades on yellow on its gold in different lighting, that would be absurd...

But these reps unfortunately do not have the exact same color as gen hahaha.

I would still keep them, if not for the lack of wrist time...

Yes. If I wanted a 12 bluesy and not the 11.

I would skip the EWF 12 bluesy altogether.
