Hey guys...

I've been completely amazed at some of the vintage PAM peices that have been posted recently and am desperate to own one myself.

I recently purchased a peice from WM however it had problems with the Cortebert movement so had to be returned and unfortunately i'm experiencing a little withdrawal... Well lots actually...

I would like to experiment building some for myself, or possibly guided by someone knowledgable to create some stunning pieces, however where do you guys source the cases, dials ( some of them are amazing), hands, movements etc...

Where do you start with something like this ??

any guidence or advice will be gratefully recieved... I understand that some of this info may be not for public consumption, similar to WM and only dealing with friends... but i hope you can guide me...

Cheers

Based on the fact that this is your first post you should spend some time contributing to the community. After that there may be some members who might step up and help you out. Share and share alike.

Great - your next post is number 3. Tell us about yourself in the new members section and let us know about your watches. That is a good place to start!

I am with CJ this time... Now, as a starter, you should contact enzo for a vintage dial replacement. As for movement, get a serviced Moljina (this is cheap) or a legendary Angelus 8 days <--- you'll get it when you're luckyyyyyyyyyyyy. Hands... davidsen is your best bet. Budget?? <--- important to set a limit on how much you're willing to spend.

I say just buy an off the shelf model that you like and go from there.
