OK, so about a week ago I got a 45mm Radiomir style case vintage Panny rep from Joshua with a California dial. It has an acrylic crystal and the Molnija 3133 movement.
I have a Ti cushion case Junkers with the Molnija movement and I love it, so I had high hopes/expectations for this watch.
The good news is that it delivered in spades! I love it. I've worn it nearly non-stop since I got it. I absolutely LOVE the California dial, the vintage looking lume and the polished case with the fixed wire lugs.
The screw down case back is polished and completely empty of all writing and markings. The dial has no branding marks on it anywhere, either. From Josh's pictures, I think the movement is engraved as a Rolex movement, but I haven't opened mine up to verify (and I don't really care either way). The only exterior "branding" is the Brevet marking on the crown.
The band is a dark brown leather with white stitches. It's an open ended (obviously with the fixed wire lugs) 26mm/26mm band with a high polished buckle. The leather is soft and comfortable if a little on the thin side. 26mm is a bit wide on this watch IMO. So I ordered a strap that is nearly identical to the one it came with, only this new strap is 24mm/22mm. I'm going to fit a 22mm pre-vendome style polished buckle on it, too.
Anyway, I couldn't be happier, and I think this watch is a great value at <$200. Here are some horribly amatuer pictures....
