First, some of these are over in Eyecandy - but some on this section don't head that way, so here they are:

Gorgeous, Brad. What strap is that on your Fiddy? That thing is THICK!

I've thought of getting the gold Radiomir for dressier occasions, what's your impression of it? Looks fab on that gator strap!

Thanks peep - the strap on the Fiddy is a cognac Mario Paci 9. I've gone a bit bonkers over my 127 and now have about 8 decent straps for it :?

I wear the 231 RG Radiomir sparingly (also, it hasn't been superlumed or servcied yet). I think it's great - clean & simple - when used on the right occasion. Not a daily wearer - but the good news is that this way the RG plate won't deteriorate too quickly! :)

Thanks for the comment,

RB, I hope this means that you have kept a nice digi for your own pieces!?

I'm really grateful for Pug's tips - he's right, it's not the gear, it's a few logical steps ... for e.g. I took a bunch earlier today and DUH! - I had not dusted off the 212, consequently it looked awful ... if I find a sample of that one I'll post as an e.g. of one of my many buggered-up photos :?

I kept the big stuff (everything from 16-22 megapixels). The smaller stuff, medium format film gear and 35mm film gear is all going. Hasn't been used in a while.

And yes, pugs tutorials are nice. He doesn't mention (I don't think) much about black cards or flags or gobos (all to block hot spots from your light sources) which I see you have a couple of in your shots, but they (the tutorials) are great for everyone on here. I know some guys that shoot smaller stuff like jewelry and watches and their methods are quite a bit different, but the end results work for each. Keep up the good work - digital is free (for the most part).

:D

The strap on the 111H is a MP Decima Bourgogne - Elliot @ TC still has them :) I really like these Decima MPs ...

Cheers,
