doesnt that feel wrong ? when the majority is against it - and a huge police prescence must protect them.....with bullet proof vests, batons and machine guns!
same scenario as in PARIS - LONDON ......? what a ridicolous, lame, shameful scenario !
does nobody think there is something wrong ? i would love to see nobody showing up in China ! - and the glorious chinese government could announce they won all their gold medals themselves.

i am in steady contact with my friend Robert, Airforce, stationed in Iraq. he is 24.

his mother was stationed in Wiesbaden, she is 43, and also deployed in Iraq.

his father, deployed in Afghanistan, wounded and in hospital.

Robert tells me Iraq is hell, and nothing is going good....the opposite.

i know what is happening in tibet is really crappy but the olympics are about sport NOT politics. for the love of god, athletes work hard their whole lives to get there. who gives a rats ass if they are in china, iraq, iran, canada, usa, whatever. let them play their sports and leave the political bullshit out of it.

i dont think a contry that comitts genocide and massakers must not deserve to be in the spotlight and act as a host of the Olympic games.

i care about ....how Dave calls it - SHITE ( if it would be your folks being killed by the chinese - you would sure not talk like that )

if it would be up to me only a nation would be rewarded with hosting the games that does not comitt crimes against humanity like that.

if this problem would really just be : SHITE - countries like France, England, Germany would not try to make a staement and decide not to take part in the opening ceremonies in Bejing.
