Hi : I just got back home to find the crown for my planet ocean ultimate edition 45.5mm has fallen off and it has unscrewed itself from the stem.
For any experts out there where can I find one that will thread onto the stem and also the case for this watch.

I have attached some pics of the watch , I purchased this from silix a few months ago and was told it was a japanese ETA movement. the watch has been great so far and i'm a little disappointed to have found this so any help or advice would be much appreciated.

once i get a new crown do i have to remove the stem completely to screw it back on - any tips or advice on this aspect would be great.

Thanks for any help

Tom

well, it gets worse... I found the crown in my house but it appears that it snapped the stem where it threads in - so part of the stem is inside the crown housing. So it appears I will need a new stem and crown. If i were to take this to a watchmaker do you think he could fix it even though the crown cannot be threaded onto a stem as it is now.

Thanks again for any assistance

It would be best if you could source a new stem and crown. Depending on how the stem is broken off in the existing crown, it could be extremely difficult to salvage the current crown.
