To optics cut or not?

I recently picked up a Dan Wesson DWX. Cost an arm and a leg but I finally picked it up the other day. Shoots great! I've got about 2k rounds through it and the trigger is almost as smooth as I am accurate with it. I've never had an optic on a pistol though, I'm kind of wanting to send it in to get optics cut. What are your opinions on optics for pistols? Would you optics cut a DWX? Would it hurt resale on it?

Probably wouldn't hurt the resale as long as the cut and mods are done tastefully.
Why not? Personally, I find optics on pistols to be quite useful, I had mine set to low 1/3 co-witness and it took some time for the muscle memory to get used to it, but I think it is well worth it and it also makes the setup looks really cool lol.
