Thought i had screwed up BIG Time but.......................

Close to 3 weeks ago i PM Mr. Davidsen for a special order of Pam232. That was before any dealers were offering that model. We discussed quite abit regarding the specs and an order was placed!

Before the final product was ready there were quite a number of PMs from me to Mr. Davidsen to make certain changes and also asked for a change of the golden hands, glass and etc. In all i can say that Mr. Davidsen was very patient and replied all my mails promptly and ensured that the watch would be made to my exact specifications. Have to add that all these happened without me sending any funds to him yet.

When it was ready recently and Mr. Davidsen sent me the picts, i realised that it wasnt for me The watch is great but i just couldnt see myself wearing it often.
The dial was simply too plain for me. I wouldnt want to have a special order that would sit in my watch box and collect dust and honestly i feel its a waste of Mr. Davidsen's workmanship.

I was caught in between taking it or cancelling the order. It would be very irresponsible of me to cancel i know. And i was afraid, honestly afraid that i would piss off the greatest dealer(IMHO) here. There were so many thoughts that crossed my mind what Mr. Davidsen might say. Man, was i shitting myself!!!!!!

PS: Can u amend the crown lever? Engravings TM on top and REG bottom is CORRECT. But The lever should be at the bottom not at the top as your pict depicted. Can it be changed? ]]

I promptly paypal Mr. Davidsen the total amount and all was sorted out.

Hereby i would like to thank Mr. Davidsen for his graciousness and being so accomodating to my request.
I STLL DO feel bad for backing out on that special order as Mr. Davidsen had to reply to my mails so many times to mod the watch.
The 217 will be sent out soon but i just cant wait to make this post to thank Mr. Davidsen and let everyone know what a GREAT guy he is!!!!!!!!!!

Here, i also understand the shit dealers go thru with customers who gives them all kinds of f**king problems. I will NEVER ever request for a special order again before i'm 1000% sure i want that watch on my wrist all the time!!!!!!!!

You should have seen my latest order for his Fiddy...God, I went thru so many iterations and changes before I ordered the final product that in the end I even got myself confused...he kept his coolness though, a real gentlemen.

I have purchased 2 watches from Davidsen, the 2nd is in transport to me, now. He has always been prompt and courteous in his replies. Any piece on my wishlist that he offers is a no-brainer. Just wish he'd offer a 177h! :wink:

I totally agree. Its the next watch on my list and I'd it from him without a doubt. I'm sending a watch back to him right now that I've had for months. Hes going to fix it for me. Great dealer a true gent.

i would buy one. i wish he would make a 111h. i am looking to buy one now and i would have no problem waiting if he had one in the works. my 195 is great.

the screws stripped the first time i changed the strap and his are smaller than the others so i couldn't find any to buy. i contacted him and the mail man just brought them.

he is a great dealer with great watches and if he don't make a 111h i will probably just order a 005 from him to add a black dial with a polished case to my collection.

whatever the case maybe i will most certainly be doing more business with him.

Why don't you ask him to build you one. He has all the parts, the only difference is the movement won't be branded.

I am thinking about the 127, the 195 and getting him to build a 111h for me. All I know right now is that my next watch will be a PAM and it will be from Davidsen.
