Now, besides the internal movement, is there any exterior difference on the watch? i.e. crystal, stainless steel, etc... PLEASE HELP!! Also, do they really make the watch in SWISS or is this just a hype?

yes swiss watches are manufactured in switzerland. what happens is disgruntled employees smuggle them out and sell them to the general public at a fraction of what they are worth because they are pissed off at working for peanuts.
i got a genuine panerai, for less than $1000. it was AAA+++ model. That is what you need to look for. OH, and if you are going to buy the made in switzerland rep, make sure it is from one of our non forum dealers, they got the best stuff.

u have to pay premium,and expect premium price for reps which are said to be made in switzerland.it aint cheap due to the competition they have there.nonetheless the quality is superb!!
i have a gen rolex replica which is made in switzerland which uses gen rolex parts e.g the rolex in house movement,bracelet and case.but at a cheaper price but still premium in the rep scene

of course ! I would never go back to an asian movt. watch ! I own 3 Swiss movt. watches, Omega, Breitling, and Rolex, I can tell you it's worth every cent ! My Omega Seamaster 007 Casino Royale, (that I'm wearing right now) is the best, I dropped it 3 times continuously, (normally a jap movt. would have broke) but my Omega was still ticking, after about 2 hrs, I looked at the time, and what happened shocked me, it stopped ! I shook it to get the rotor moving to wind it, and no response, so later when I went home I opened the caseback and saw nothing was broken, well I could'nt tell any way lol but I winded it up and then touched the spinning thing (not the rotor, the spring mechinism that spins constantly to keep the watch beat going) and then when I touched it with my screwdriver, it started to pick up motion and took off ! now its been over 1 month since it happend and it still works !
so summing it up. Swiss is worth every cent !

I disagree with that, the good swiss replicas come from Switzerland. The Chinese are not allowed to mark the watches with swiss made. You find lots of fake watches which say swis made from China, not swiss. Just take a look to the links provided in here.

No, everyone is wrong. My cousin lives in Switzerland, and she said all the "replica" watches are made by the Chinese in the basement of the real manufacturers. Rolex for example has a division within the building in the west corner of the circular basement. It is staffed fully by Chinese workers, and the manager is Thai.
What they do is this. All the sub par parts, instead of binning them are dropped down a shoot to the circular basement and then carted over to the west corner. There "replica" rolexes are built. They then sell the watches themselves.
This is the beauty part. They make money selling them, and then tip off customs, especially Texas, and San Francisco. And they are confiscated, only to be sent back to rolex and then recycled and sold again.
