So I'm watching CNN this morning. One of those doctors was talking. You know the ones like Gupta who couldn't make it as real doctor so he became a reporter. Anyhoo. This person was talking about how Anti-depressants can cause men's libido to fall. Ie: they can't get it up. They said no matter what you shouldn't quit taking them. the anchor responds that it is terrible how you take a pill to treat a 'disease' (hmmmm) and that it causes more problems. Then she asked what could be done. The doctor replies, "You can take Viagara, Cialis or Levitra".

WTF is wrong with these people?

Kinda hard to judge about that if you haven't had the experience needing to take anti depressants.

I do not know anybody who takes these btw.... they are much less common over here in Germany than in the US. Kinda better that way... :roll:

then you can take something for that blue tint that viagra makes you see... not that i know... i just heard it makes you see in a blue tint. pills for pills. thats america.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. It's not about depression itself. I could rattle on about that all day. It's about taking more pills that have side effects to combat the side efffects from the other pills you're taking because of the side effects that you have from the other pills you're taking. And the media propogating it is criminal.

These levitra-cialis commercials have got to stop. Through advertising they are subliminally and hypnotic-suggestively creating a need to those men who do not have troubles in this area. And the golf tournaments are always sponsored by these two drug companies. Granted there are many men worldwide who are unable to utilize their 1 iron, but why do the rest of us have to put up with these commercial just because some do not have a long putter.

Now everytime I see the couple together in seperate bath-tubs gazing out into the horizon or a 90 year-old couple hopping on a Harley heading to a Vegas hotel, I mute the T.V. everytime. They aint gonna get me.

All true.

But its just what the NWO ordered. A bunch of sedated idiots who are easy to control. Look how much more they prescribe drugs for ADD now as well. These kids dont all need it, but the teachers are lazy, and it keeps all the kiddies under their control.

Do some research on flouride. You will be amazed what it does to you.

My dad had a surfire cure for ADD. It was called a swift kick in the ass. Worked every time. He always got my attention.

Create a product to take care of a problem that needs other products to take care of its side effects and another product to take care of the side effects of that product ect...
All of course made by the same company.

Scary thought. :shock: They look like the real thing but dont actually treat anything, or are poisonous.

all day on the TV...medication against FAT, HEARTDISEASE, ERECTILE DISFUNCTION, DEPRESSION, and more medication if you are even more depressed.

GAZILLIONS EARNED......it seems to me AMERICANS are in severe trouble !

I just renamed this 'The Rant Thread' because I want it to be a continuing statement about what's on my mind and yours. Sometimes you just have to vent. Like yesterday. I saw a report where some guy was arrested for try to assasinate the Prsident....with a shoe. Oh I'm sorry..TWO SHOES! Apparently Mr. Bush doesn't have any idea what an assault is. I've been in harm's way more than that lodido will ever be and I assure you it's not an airborne Hush Puppy. Then I have to listen to that pussy O'Reillly talk about what he would have done to the guy. He'd piss his pants if I ever showed up at his doorstep. Anyway that's my rant for the day.

What say you? :roll:

I saw the video right after it happened and before stations truncated it. I laughed my ass off. I have not followed the pointless pundits (on ANY channel); they always make hay over nothing.
Bush just ducked the first one, and by the time he stood up again he was grinning.
He simply stood there and batted at the second with an open palm, then immediately brushed off the secret service.
He knew he was not in harms way the whole time, and was not concerned.
Until you said Bush claims he was almost assasinated, I have not had further interest in this.
My impression from the unadulterated video was quite the opposite.
He seemed to know right away that this guy was simply seeking to make a name for himself.
Just my thoughts, as I said I've neither seen nor heard more than the original video.
