Hi. Can you tell me about this piece? Is it an obscure model or a fantasy? I have the opportunity to buy one very similar.

it’s beautiful. I suspected it was a a type of 6152 but none of the pictures I have come across in my research has the “Luminor Panerai” at the top and “Marina Militare” at the bottom. They all have the opposite….MM at the top and LP at the bottom. All except for one….and that one didn’t have a crown guard. So I just wondered if you had any additional or specific info that I might have missed. Maybe there was just some variety in the early years of the 6152, but to have not come across a single picture depicting this layout ….and I looked at hundreds of images….seems odd.

Here is my MMLP version some have the MM on top others the LP or only the LP or only the MM
