I found this maker's web site by chance, trawling through 'steampunk', of which I am a huge fan (you should see what they do to computer monitors and keyboards). The guy is a Japanese fellow who beavers away in his workshop creating these fantastic watches. It's definitely an aquired taste, but I love 'em. Unfortunately his web site is all in Japanese. I believe the watches are pretty cheap--about $100 and up if I recall. The variety is astonishing because he presumably gets bored and goes on to the next outlandish model. Jules Verne would have worn one..... You gotta have a sense of history and a sense of the absurd.
