taka dw problem help please

hi guys
fews weeks ago I sent my 243 and dw to goin for relume and put on dw. he sent me email said it bad dw teeth. should I contact taka for replacement or what should i do.

Taka has a good reputation, so I suspect if you contact him he'll make it good. Also, it's easy to send back your defective DW if he wants you to. Good luck

This I got taka
The datewheel you purchased is from batch 1, which is infamous for the paint problem on the teeth.
Many people solved it by manually removing the paint on the teeth that is causing problem.
That problem was unforseen at the point of manufacturing. I sincerely apologize for this problem.
In the meantime, we are working on this issue for our 2nd batch. It proves really tough though.

i also bought a taka dw for my pam. it really looks great but it is a pain in the ass to install it...
