T48 to DSN

Are there any issues with installing a T48 crown to a DSN case? Everything is PVD. Will CG lever need any shaving or is there any issues with tube?
Thanks

Shouldn't be any fitment issues between the crown and the *case* (the t48 stem is thinner than DSN's spring-loaded stem), so no worries there.

However, the t48 way well be "dished" out more drastically than the DSN crown, so the CG lever may actually be too short. I don't know that for sure, but that would be my only worry.

Hooli is right!

You have two options really. Shave the cg feet down or buy a new after market cg. Torobravo is in the process of making them. Which will have a long lever and make fitting a T48 easier.

Another issue I've had is that the DSN stem is short so you may want to pick up a new 6497 stem and sand it down

Good facts to know, T is including a new 6497 stem. If the new stem is longer than DSN's stem, couldn't I sand the longer stem down enough to bridge the gap to the CG lever?

No because then the crown will stick too out from the case and make it look wrong (and why do that if you spend so much money on T crown) and it also might effect the water resistance

Is the dish depth that extreme on a T48 for there to be lever issues? How does Vac or a serious modder handle this? If I have to shave the CG feet (which I've done plenty of times), my concern is the PVD coating, won't some of the metal might show on the edges?
