This has been discussed previously but without a definitive answer. Is there a reliable way to distinguish swiss ETA movement watches versus swiss copied. We currently rely on dealers letting us know what we purchase but the swiss copies are so good that it is hard to distinguish.
What I mean by reliable is a visual inspection method short of opening the case and examining the movement.
