swiss 7753 for pams?

just a question for all of the guru's here.

can you convert a valjoux 7753 into a pam automatic movement by removing the pins for chronograph function, leaving only the seconds at the 9 position?

please advise.

You asked if the 7753 could be converted to the Panerai auto movement, retaining only the running seconds at 9. Panerai use the 7750 movement in the same way but the sub-dial spacing is not the same on the Swiss 7753. In other words, if you converted the movement in this way the Panerai dial wouldn't line up with the small seconds at 9. Also the dial feet are in different positions.
Best to get a Swiss 7750 instead.
