Hi all
I was wondering if it is possible to swap out an Asian 2892 and place in the watch a genuine ETA 2824?
The watch I'm interested in is the IWC mark XVII 42mm pilot watch. It has the Asian 2892 21J but I'm not sure how good QC is on these things so it would be great if I can have someone put in a real ETA 2824 I've have and trusted for many years. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Not possible. Thickness of movements is very different.
