So I got a new KW 388 with the seagull movement... I wore it for 14 hrs to check the power reserve and noticed that it died in a few hrs

I do not have a winder so I rotated the watch 100 times in one direction then 100 times in the opposite and I did this for a 1000 turns and it was done slowly to make sure I did it right.... Thank God for the world cup, it made this job a lot easier.

Now the watch died in 14hrs !!!!

honestly I really dont care about the power reserve being so low because it works well with when i put it on and I do wear diff watches .... what I do care about is this prob going to get worse ? should I send it back to the TD to get it replaced.

Is this problem a ticking time bomb and the one fine day its gonna stop working ?

If the reserve only last 14hrs, send it back to get it replaced.

try manually winding it yourself. Unscrew the crown, turn the crown away from you about 30 rotations.

Then measure the power reserve.
