I asked for a gen CG at the Panerai boutique in Munich...no chance.
I think the only way is finding on at chrono24 or eBay.

Chrono24 is a bit shady to me from first site....its possible

Wondering the same. Not sure if it would require an original proof of purchase of a 372.

This may be why you couldn't get one.

Even if you had a gen PAM372, I don't think you would be able to get a gen crownguard. They would only get the gen CG in order to replace the existing CG. So you'd still only have one CG (else those replica owners would be thinking of replacing their parts with gen ones. :p ).

I'm sure I could remove the cg from my 372 then send it for "repair". Probably still would cost an arm and a leg though.

Getting PAM OEM-parts is a pain or let's say, nearly impossible.

They don't sell parts seperately - even not to ADs.

In Germany you have to send your watch to Richemont Munich.

Totally forgot: Crown guards do fall off on gens as well as our reps. Had a few friends that their gen crown guard fell off. Panerai ordered a new one for them. Soooo... Might not be impossible

So more than one of your friends have had their PAM crown guards fall off? That's poor quality control. And they didn't post in Risti to raise hell?

But, you have to show up WITH your gen at the Panerai boutique before they order a new CG for you.
As I said, I have tried that at the Panerai boutique in Munich
