Snakes on a plane force Qantas to ground flight - telegraph.co.uk

An Australian airliner was grounded after four baby pythons escaped from their container in the aircraft's hold.

At first it was thought the reptiles may have been eaten by the other snakes, but this was discounted after they were weighed on landing.

Passengers were transferred to other aircraft. The jet was fumigated but the snakes' bodies are yet to be found.

"They're not endangered so a decision was made to fumigate...if these snakes turn up they will be very much dead snakes," David Epstein of Qantas said.

It is not known how the snakes - which can grow up to a metre in length - escaped from their container.

They were being transported in the cargo hold of the aircraft in a bag inside a plastic foam box with air holes.

The passenger aircraft returned to service on Wednesday.

I can imagine that voice transcript.

That is a problem. There is no art anymore. They have made maybe 10 good movies in the last 10 years.

1. The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc
2. Snatch
3. Ocean's Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen
4. Pulp Fiction
5. Chocolat
6. The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain
7. Letters from Iwo Jima
8. Fight Club
9. American Beauty
10. Hotel Rwanda
11. Kill Bill (Vol. 1 & 2)
12. Crash
13. Walk the Line
14. The Da Vinci Code (yes, the book is better... but the movie was good)

... and I have a feeling that Slumdog Millionaire will be a contender (once I get to see it!)

... so that's about 10 in 10 years... yikes!

I would agree w/ every one of those movies ( a few to add to it myself )
buuuut ... kill bill..
idk why - but I'm the only one on the planet that hated those movies...

(I would replace it w/ Brotherhood of the wolf. A very .. very good movie)

Also - October Skies, The Hunt for Red October and Good will Hunting on and
Finding Forrester

I would have to include "Boondock Saints" as one of my favorite movies in the last few years. Working offshore we watch a lot of movies, and most of the new ones, although sometimes entertaining, mostly suck.

My only problem about boondock saints,
is how over played it is....

everyone whos irish thinks its the best movie in the world... and thus decides to play it over.. and over and over.

That being said - I do enjoy it, but like everything else.. to much is a bad thing
and for now I need a good long time before I can see it again.

Speaking of great movies and Samuel L Jackson...I would add True Romance written by QT but its definitely like 15 years old to the list. It didn't get alot of press because QT wrote the movie but did not direct or produce it like most of his other films. If you havn't seen True Romance, dont let the title fool you, its action to the end. Just to name a few actors in the movie...Christian Slater,Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, Gary Oldman, Samuel L Jackson, James Gandolfini, Brad Pitt, Val Kilmer, Patricia Arquette, Chris Penn, Micheal, Micheal Rapaport, Tom Sizemore...ok so more than a few

Heres a clip with Gary Oldman and Samuel L Jackson(his only part in the movie)

If your offended by vulgar language then don't watch

Oh, and yes that is Gary Oldman in the dreads!
