Yes, that is the Taiwan strap shown in the photos above.

If your rep strap looks like that one, please tell us where you sourced your Santos, Kay.

Mine looks like this.

You can have one by our strap makers here but you need to provide a rep strap for the end pieces. I just so happen to have a spare rep strap you can have you decide to go that route.

Thanks Fiveostang - I appreciate your offer.

Good suggestion about using one of our strap makers.

Donerix made a custom strap for my Nautilus which I am very happy with.

Also considered using Jacob after reading great reviews of his work.

Still contemplating what to do - may just wait a little while - don't want to make an expensive mistake.

I ordered a double sided black croc strap from a local strap maker in my country, it cost me around $130.

He made the lugs area much thicker, so he don't need to use the plastic insert that comes in the rep strap....

I'll try to take a picture for you later on....

I recommend going the gen strap route. Fits perfectly and looks great. I also have a custom strap made with the rep lugs. Strap looked great but it broke at the rep lugs. Bummer. Felt like I wasted the money and should have just gone gen for a little bit more $.

I want to change the strap of my Santos 100, too. But I don't want to spend a big amount of money.

I would like to know your opinion about this strap from ebay: Click here.

Timerepublic on eBay sells ones a little better than rep strap but still completely subpar. You really can't cheap out when it comes to a croc strap.

Well I finally found and purchased a Gen strap from Chrono24 for $234.
Seller is located in Italy - brand new and never worn - looks fantastic to me.

I have never seen one before that didn't have the 'nipples' on the plastic lug end. The store must be right but never seen a gen one like that...

I've just ordered a Santos 100 XL from Ryan at intime. Have read all the posts about how poor the rep straps are but can't find any OEM ones within budget (£150; $225). Does anyone know what the straps from timerepublic on ebay are like?

Was looking at getting the Kavlar style band or going a bit left field and getting a carbon fibre style band. Does anyone have any experience of either of these? Have seen photos of the Kavlar style but not carbon fibre.
