Santos chrono with 7553 movement... still available?

I never really was into cartier watches until I saw a picture of the santos chrono on a hktan strap... Now I want it lol. I have been doing some research on best model and seems that the one with the 7553 movement is the best because of the un-sunken date wheel.

Anyways, in my research I have read a few members comment that this watch, with this movement, is no available. I also read that with the 7553 movement the watch sells for close to 1000. There is a model on the puretime site with this movement for less than 400... am I missing something here.

I need to email some TDs to inquire about this watch but wanted to hear some members comments too.

Swiss 7753 models sell for $1000. I could be wrong but I understand that the Asian 7753 on the PT site is a modified 7750. It's still a great watch, IMHO. My Panerai Daylight has a 7753 like the one on the PT site. The date wheel is advanced by a pusher at 10:00 and there is no sunken date wheel.
