Good watch. I´ve got the same from Lay a few weeks ago. No problems at all; even rehaut is well aligned. Good, reliable movement. The sole black dial ist best of the three versions to get, imho. Classy:lol:

Have to fail this one though, the rehaut is WAY off- R doesn't line up with the 9 marker.

Actually, the R should line up with the 1 2 3 4 5 7 8 9 10 11

This rehaut cannot be adjusted to line up properly all the way around.

Thanks all for the feedback and specifically for ThinkBachs for the photos and comment around rehaut alignment. Will get back to Lay later today, in case anyone notices anything else.

I guess it's easier enough for the rehaut to be re-aligned, or am I wrong?!

This is what my rehaut was aligned. Not perfect, but near perfect. Do go ahead and talk to Lay about this one.

I would have to agree on the rehaut, that's way off, ask Lay about it, other than that, great ... :)

The engraving on that rehaut can never be aligned properly. Ever. Look at the 9 engraving, and shift it so that the R aligns properly. Imagine the same amount of adjustment done at the 1. You would then have L E over the 1 marker and not an R.

This is what my rehaut was aligned. Not perfect, but near perfect. Do go ahead and talk to Lay about this one.

THAT's the way it's supposed to look! Nice!!

Gonna have to disagree with you there mate, don't wanna mislead him, rehaut on this model is definitely wrong. Correct rehaut should look like... well, he posted a gen for comparison, it should look like that. The most accurate reps have rehauts that are near perfect, usually off by a couple mil in places (Mine for instance is a "correct rehaut" model but is still off a couple mil at 7 but correct everywhere else) but I've yet to see a rep that has a properly accurate rehaut. Very close, but none perfect. Mind you, Rolex don't always get them perfect either but better than reps in any case.

Now, davidcfowler, apart from the aforementioned rehaut that watch looks perfect for a Milgauss gen. The rehaut is not a part of the watch that can just be "realigned" though, it doesn't work that way. It's a part of the watch case which is engraved, and the engraving spacing is the wrong shape so it quickly falls out of alignment with the markers. It's important to note that this is not a fault, it's standard for most Milgauss replica's. They've started producing them with correctly aligned rehauts but I'm not sure if they do it sometimes and not others or what but it's still not that easy to just get an aligned one.

You can ask Lay but he told me he wasn't willing to go through the motions of getting an aligned model. If it doesn't bother you I wouldn't complain as it's not a fault, and you may have to go through a couple of watches to get the right one, if he does it at all.

@AHX: was talking about the rehaut on my watch; didn´t have that close look at the qc pics to be honest:facepalm: just general impressions. everythig else already stated in posts above:lol:
