My Rolex Submariner Ceramic Domi modded, new index,great blue lume, gen hands

Hi guys

i'd like to give a tribute to my friend domi (dmuit) and to show you my submariner ceramic rolex

i had this project in my mind and thanks to domi i realized

i started from a cartel sumariner bougth like a "BK" with sellitta movement

then i decided to change the rings with DSSD V5 version that are close to the gen rings so bougth a DSSD dial.

i have sent to the wizard Domi the watch and the new rings and he started with the masterpiece

these are pics when the watch arrived to him

then he started..................

during the works he gaved me some advices and we decided to do more things............

this was i first step

i asked him to put also a correct hour hand and he.......................gave me gen rolex hands

this is final result

works:
- changed the index rings
- complete relume
- waterprrofing
- regulated movement
- centred pearl
- brushed bracelet
- installed gen rolex hand set

The new markers fit the gen hands' lume very closely. This is a very fine modification, mate. How long did it take for him to complete everything?

thanks to my italian friend I called Domi which will replace the minute hand with the correct one that is larger.

Domi had put both of those gen because most beautiful (too good) but since we like to resemble more and more to Gen ................

I do not know if he will update the photos or I will return to the clock

Infact but at the moment i dont have a new insert

Next time will go to domi for other works ( gen crown and glass....i'm studing to put a clark glass....using milling machine on the case....) i ll change the insert

It only takes a little bit of patience to remove the bezel- heat it up to soften the tape behind it and work it around till it comes out. If it's going to break anywhere, it'll break where the pearl sits. The heating process takes a couple or three times to go through with a hair dryer to loosen. Getting it out is easy if you take your time...

Check with Trevor about getting a replacement.
