Well I've always been a rubber strap guy, never really liked Crocodile.
But, the Hublot BB V6 rubber strap was far too large and odd. So, after seeing that Eric now makes custom Hublot straps (one of the few I believe), I decided to give it a shot and order.

He had the strap completed in the time frame we agreed upon, and it arrived fairly quickly. Upon opening package, it struck me as beautiful! Shiny/glossy finish, black with black stitching, just the right length, holes in place for Hublot mounting areas, etc. I was excited to try this baby on!

Good thing I Had ordered an H screwdriver prior, so I set about mounting my also-newly-received GEN clasp (expensive but great investment I feel) on the strap. I put the spring bar in and slid the Croc strap end into clasp. It was a hair wide, but I didn't have many troubles - Overall the clasp mounted very easily. Fit was perfect in the end.

I then mounted one side of the strap to watch head. Slipped right in the "port" for lack of a better word, then I screwed the H screws and regular side screws in. Screws threaded easily and worked like a charm. Moving on to the other side, it was a bit thick to actually fit that port. I had to wiggle and twist the strap in, and the end I needed in watch head (w screw holes) started to "bend/fold" back a bit as I attempted to push it in. I messed with it for a few minutes and got it in, then put the screws in place. It took a few tries to get them threaded but all was well with a little patience!
After finishing the mounting, all I had to do was put strap into deployant holes. This was fairly easy as well, after deciding which holes I needed I pressed down hard around them to make sure strap was securely in place on the head of hole.

Trying her on - again I absolutely loved the look. The strap is soft, comfortable, and wears very well. Length is perfect. I'm sure pleased with this purchase from Donerix/Eric - and I'm sure you would be too!

Looks awesome! Is this a better strap then the croc gummy strap, because in the gummy strap the logo's are inside and in the custom strap of Eric not.

I also saw that you suggest a DW mod. Can you please tell me which modding there is for a Hublot V6, because I understand that it's already close to a gen. And which watchmaker or modding person do this? Because there's not so much to read about modding the v6.

Thanks bud!
First, ive never seen a gummy strap in real life and know nothing about them...
As far as DW mod is concerned - i know nothing about that either. In the other thread, after someone posted "dw mod" everyone was like ummm what does dw stand for? So i commented that DW stands for date wheel, although again i know nothing about this particular.mod - not what it does, what it costs, who does it, nothing. Hope that clears it up!
Someone that could probably do it though - would be Domi in EU.

Lovely strap! I have my Donerix strap coming soon :) If I mount the strap on the rep clasp will the watch become more comfortable? The rep gummy strap is terrible... And I know the clasp isnt great but will the Donerix strap make the clasp bearable?

Thanks
