Started over and used liver of sulfur

Love the way it looks here! Personally even if I actually found a watch in a shipwreck I would clean it up as much as possible before wearing.

Salt water mate. Either in a spray bottle or dip it a few times a day.

Haha mate! Not trying to be mean or anything but this thing looks sick to me (quite literally in a bad way) in the first 2 pics. Make sure you put on some gloves in the process and check if your skin is not allergic to that green layer of oxide.

Actually it does little or no harm to the material of the watch at all, it cleans off with lemon juice.
