A question if I may.

What is the best way to remove (and then replace) the hour markers and Rlx crown from a Clean dial?

I can see each has two fixings studs from behind.

I want to remove them, paint the dial and them replace them.

Thanks
Geoff

How to fix crooked markers - DIY

I typically glue markers on from the dial side. For regular markers I put a thin line of glue between the holes and I plunge the holes with some. On Daytona 3 6 9 markers, put glue only in the holes (no line of glue). For the coronet, reset it in the holes and apply only a tiny amount of glue from the backside of the dial. The coronet is tricky and way too skinny to put any glue on from the dial side. You have to do it if the pins were sanded off for example to swap in a differently configured coronet but won't apply for a remove and replace.
